Riot Updates Worlds 2026 Times and Venue Rules

Riot Games has updated the start times for several Worlds 2026 stages and published separate spectator policies for the Texas rounds and the New York final. The Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen will host Swiss, quarterfinals and semifinals. Barclays Center in Brooklyn will host the November 14 final. Fans traveling to both locations need to check each venue independently because bag sizes, sign rules, age guidance and re-entry are not identical.

Play-Ins in Los Angeles begin at 11 AM PDT. In Texas, Swiss starts at 12 PM CDT from October 23-26, moves to 3 PM CDT from October 28-30 and returns to 12 PM CDT on October 31. Quarterfinals and semifinals run from November 3-8 at 4 PM CST. The New York final begins at 2 PM EST on November 14. These are local time zones, so remote viewers and travelers should convert the correct stage rather than applying one offset to the full event.

Texas and New York use different entry limits

Texas permits small bags under 4.5 by 8.5 inches and medium clear bags under 14 by 14 by 6 inches. Barclays prohibits bags larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches and hard-sided bags, subject to stated medical or special-needs exceptions. Re-entry also differs: a Texas wristband allows it from October 23-31, but not during the November 3-8 knockout rounds. Barclays does not permit re-entry for the final.

Age rules require the same venue-specific attention. In Texas, guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 19 or older, while children under 2 do not need a ticket. In New York, children under 13 require an adult aged 18 or older, and attendees under 18 are strongly encouraged to have a parent or legal guardian. Every person attending in costume still needs a valid ticket; cosplay does not create an entry exception.

Cameras, signs and cosplay need advance checks

Both venues prohibit professional or interchangeable-lens cameras along with tripods, monopods, gimbals, flashes and selfie sticks. Phones may be used for personal recording unless event staff directs otherwise, but unauthorized livestreaming is prohibited. A compact phone setup may therefore pass where a creator’s larger production kit does not. Final authority remains with staff at the entrance.

Texas signs may be up to 60cm by 60cm, and compliant LED signs are allowed. Barclays limits signs to 11 by 17 inches and does not allow LEDs. Both require event-related, lightweight material that one person can hold without blocking sightlines, and neither permits poles or sticks. A banner prepared for Allen may therefore fail Brooklyn rules even if its message stays unchanged.

Cosplay is welcome under a shared safety framework. Face coverings and face paint are not allowed because attendees must remain recognizable and maintain clear vision. Costumes are limited to 1.2m wide, 1.8m long and 2.4m tall. Swords or bladed props must be blunt, lightweight and non-metallic; realistic firearms and working projectile weapons are barred. Worbla and 3D-printed props can be admitted only when they satisfy the broader restrictions.

The practical lesson is to pack for the exact ticketed stage. Start time, time zone, bag measurement and re-entry policy all change across the route. Riot’s official policy page should be checked again before travel because venue staff retain discretion over safety and obstruction. The published rules are a planning baseline, not permission to bring an item that security considers hazardous.
