G2 NORD Beat Ruddy to Reach 3-1

G2 NORD moved to 3-1 in the EMEA Masters Summer Swiss stage by defeating Ruddy Corporation on September 29. The round-four best-of-one lasted 32:54 and ended 28-12 in kills. G2 NORD also held 69.2k gold to Ruddy’s 63.1k. Toasty led the winner with a 12/1/7 Ryze performance, while Markoon’s Vi and Tockimo’s Milio combined for 38 assists.
The result gives G2 NORD a third win but does not complete its qualification. Teams in this Swiss stage need four victories to advance, so the next qualifying opportunity still has to be played. Ruddy moved from 2-1 to 2-2 and likewise remain in the tournament. That context keeps the result in proportion: G2 NORD are one win closer to the next phase, while Ruddy have lost the record advantage they carried into round four.

G2 NORD won through shared involvement
Toasty’s 12 kills were the largest total in the game, but the victory was not isolated to mid lane. Markoon finished 7/3/15 on Vi, Rin went 6/4/13 on Lucian and Tockimo recorded 1/1/23 on Milio. Shelfmade added a 2/3/14 Galio line. Every G2 NORD player therefore participated in at least 16 of the team’s 28 kills, giving the lineup several connected sources of engage, damage and follow-up.
Ruddy still produced enough pressure to extend the game beyond half an hour. Afriibi’s Kalista finished 5/7/4, Robocop’s Rumble went 3/5/4 and Nan0 recorded 2/5/5 on Tristana. Nan0 dealt 29.7k damage and Afriibi added 26.6k. Those figures show active fighting, but Ruddy could not match G2 NORD’s conversion. The final kill gap reached 16 and the gold difference closed at 6.1k.
The next Swiss match remains decisive
The most efficient G2 NORD line belonged to Toasty. His 12/1/7 score meant 19 kill participations with only one death, and his 32.0k damage gave the team sustained output from mid lane. Rin dealt even more at 38.1k on Lucian. The two carries supplied different kinds of pressure while Vi, Galio and Milio connected the fights around them.
Tockimo’s 23 assists deserve separate attention because they place the support in 24 of 28 team kills. That level of involvement does not prove that every action began with Milio, but it does show that the support was present for most successful finishes. Markoon’s 22 combined kills and assists created a similar link from jungle. Together, their lines explain why G2 NORD’s damage could be converted into a broad team score.
Ruddy’s individual totals reveal a more fragmented outcome. Anonymouss ended 1/5/7 on Nocturne and J3rkie went 1/6/8 on Renata. Both reached meaningful assist counts, yet the team lost too many players while trying to answer G2 NORD’s threats. The losing side still accumulated 63.1k gold, so this was not a short game with no resources; the problem was turning those resources into a winning close.
The 3-1 record now gives G2 NORD a direct chance to reach the four-win threshold. It does not grant a playoff place on its own. The Swiss system also protects Ruddy from immediate elimination at 2-2, although another defeat would move the team closer to the edge of the format. Each side must therefore treat its next pairing as a new result rather than an extension of this scoreboard.
The accessible match page displays several objective figures without clear category labels. They are not assigned to towers, neutral monsters or another class here. The duration, gold, kills and player lines are sufficient to describe the game without guessing what an unlabeled number represents.
G2 NORD leave round four with the stronger record and the clearest path forward. Their advantage came from two high-output carries supported by heavy jungle and support participation. Ruddy remain alive, but their even record removes the cushion that a third win would have provided.
- G2 NORD won 28-12 in kills after 32:54.
- Toasty finished 12/1/7 and died only once.
- Tockimo participated in 24 of G2 NORD’s 28 kills.
- G2 NORD moved to 3-1 while Ruddy moved to 2-2.
