FURIA Sweep LOUD to Secure Worlds 2026 Place

FURIA secured the final Brazilian place at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship by sweeping LOUD 3-0 in the CBLOL Split 2 lower-bracket final on October 3. The victory also sent FURIA into the domestic grand final against LOS on October 10 in Rio de Janeiro. LOUD finished third and their season ended without a Worlds berth.

The result settled qualification but not Brazil’s seed order. Both CBLOL finalists will attend Worlds. The champion advances directly to the Swiss Stage, while the runner-up must begin in Play-In. FURIA therefore achieved the essential international goal against LOUD, yet still have a meaningful final to play. The next series decides the regional title and the easier route into the global event.

FURIA protected the sweep through game two

FURIA controlled most of games one and three, but the middle game tested the series lead. LOUD established a significant early advantage before FURIA recovered and completed the comeback. That reversal prevented a 1-1 score and left LOUD needing three consecutive wins. The available reports do not provide a complete verified scoreboard for every game, so the comeback is described without invented gold, kill or objective totals.

A 3-0 finish can look uniform on a bracket, but the confirmed chronology shows different routes to victory. FURIA won while ahead in two games and also won after falling behind in one. LOUD’s early game-two lead is relevant evidence of resistance, not a moral victory that changes the official result. FURIA converted all three completed games and earned the only available lower-bracket path to the final.

The final decides Brazil’s Worlds entry point

FURIA will meet LOS on October 10. LOS reached the grand final through the upper bracket, while FURIA survived the lower route by eliminating RED Canids and then LOUD. The final is a new best-of-five; the 3-0 against LOUD does not carry a game advantage into it.

Worlds qualification is already secure for both finalists. The winner becomes CBLOL’s direct Swiss representative, and the runner-up enters the Play-In field. That distinction should remain explicit because saying only that FURIA qualified can hide the unresolved stage assignment.

LOUD’s third-place finish ends their route. Reaching the lower final did not reserve an international slot, and the loss leaves no additional domestic series through which they can qualify. Reports should not place LOUD in Play-In or attach them to another tournament without a separate invitation.

The qualification also extends FURIA’s international calendar. The organization represented Brazil at the Americas Cup, Mid-Season Invitational and Esports World Cup earlier in 2026. Worlds becomes the fourth listed international event of the year. That record describes appearances, not results, and should not be presented as four titles.

FURIA’s comeback in game two is the key competitive detail because it protected momentum when the sweep was most vulnerable. Had LOUD converted the early advantage, the series would have become 1-1. Instead, FURIA reached match point and closed in the following game.

The verified reporting boundary is also important. Without complete official game tables, assigning an exact gold deficit, naming an unofficial most valuable player or reconstructing every objective would weaken the article. The supported facts are the sweep, the early game-two challenge, the comeback and the bracket consequences.

For supporters planning the next match, October 10 is the confirmed date and Rio de Janeiro the confirmed location. Worlds seeding follows that result. Until the final is played, neither FURIA nor LOS should be labeled the CBLOL champion or assigned definitively to Swiss or Play-In.

  • FURIA defeated LOUD 3-0 in the lower-bracket final.
  • The win secured FURIA a place at Worlds 2026.
  • LOUD finished third and were eliminated from Worlds contention.
  • FURIA face LOS on October 10 for the title and direct Swiss entry.

FURIA’s 3-0 victory removed LOUD, confirmed Brazil’s second Worlds representative and created an October 10 final against LOS. Qualification is settled; the CBLOL title and the choice between direct Swiss entry and Play-In remain open.
