Top Esports open LPL Split 3 with a 2-0 win over Team WE

Top Esports defeated Team WE 2-0 in their first LPL Split 3 series. JackeyLove led the opening game, while ZUIAN starred in the second. The result gives the updated roster a winning start in Group Ascend.

ZUIAN, Tian, Creme, JackeyLove and Zhuo started for Top Esports. Team WE used Cube, Monki, Karis, About and Erha. Both five-player lineups began Split 3 together for the first time.

JackeyLove leads Top Esports in the opening game

The opening game lasted 31 minutes. Top Esports finished with 17 kills and a six-thousand gold advantage. Team WE claimed only one major neutral monster.

JackeyLove played Ezreal and produced ten kills with one death. His damage from range punished Team WE before later fights began. Creme added nine assists on Ahri.

ZUIAN’s K’Sante finished with four kills and one death. Tian’s Jarvan IV supplied twelve assists despite dying four times. Zhuo supported the carries with Karma.

About kept Team WE close with seven kills on Lucian. Top Esports claimed both late neutral monsters and ended the game.

The second game lasts 29 minutes with frequent team fights

The second game lasted 29 minutes. The teams combined for 57 kills. Top Esports claimed 42 and ended the game almost fifteen thousand gold ahead.

ZUIAN controlled the top lane with Ambessa. He ended the game with eight kills, no deaths and fourteen assists. That performance earned him the second-game award.

Creme’s Sylas contributed thirteen kills and seventeen assists. JackeyLove moved from Ezreal to Xerath and added eleven kills. Tian recorded twenty-two assists on Lee Sin.

Team WE found 15 kills during the action. Karis led their total with six on Ryze. Repeated deaths across the lineup prevented the team from holding structures after each exchange.

About carried Lucian in the first game and found seven kills. The second draft moved him to Syndra. That game ended with three kills and nine deaths.

Karis changed from Aurora to Ryze between games. Monki played Jayce and then Graves. Top Esports expanded the gold lead after later river fights.

The loss leaves Team WE at 0-1 in Group Ascend. Their next series offers another chance to establish a better record. The same starting five remains registered for that match.

Split 3 begins a new competitive phase

The LPL divides teams into groups for the opening stage. Top Esports and Team WE are competing in Group Ascend. Their records start again for this phase.

The group begins with new standings for the third split. Top Esports take the first series win. Team WE begin with one loss and a negative game difference.

Top Esports arrive after a busy international period. Team WE also completed earlier domestic stages. Both organisations now turn toward the final part of the Chinese season.

Every group match requires two game wins. Top Esports earned both without losing a game. That placed them first after the opening round.

TES win the two games in different ways

The first game developed slowly and lasted slightly longer. JackeyLove supplied most of the damage while Top Esports won the key river fights.

The second game was faster and far more violent. Every Top Esports player recorded at least three kills. Four players reached fourteen or more assists.

Across both games, Top Esports collected 59 kills against Team WE’s 26. JackeyLove finished the series with 21 kills. ZUIAN died only once across the two games.

Those numbers show two different winning patterns. Top Esports used ranged pressure in the opener. They then won repeated team fights during the second game.

Zhuo completes both games beside JackeyLove

Zhuo played support in both recorded games. Karma supplied shields and control during the opener. Camille gave Top Esports another way to begin fights in the second game.

Zhuo finished the series with 31 assists. JackeyLove changed from a marksman to a mage and still produced the most kills. Their lane used two very different champion selections.

Top Esports begin Group Ascend with one match win and a positive two-game difference. Team WE start with one defeat. Both records belong only to the opening round.

The final score was built in 60 minutes of play. JackeyLove earned the first award, ZUIAN took the second, and Top Esports secured every game in the series.

Top Esports also increased their kill total sharply in the second game. Team WE found early openings before the later base push.
