MVK Esports beat Ground Zero in two games

MVK Esports defeated Ground Zero 2-0 in the opening round of LCP Split 3. Kratos led both games, while the full MVK lineup protected its early advantages.

The first game begins with pressure near the top lane

MVK began the series by creating space for Kratos on the top side. He won early fights and became difficult for Ground Zero to contain.

Gury connected the lanes and helped MVK reach dragons and Rift Herald first. Chika followed those movements from mid lane and supplied damage in later fights.

Ground Zero answered through 1Jiang and Betty during several early fights. Those kills kept the game active but did not repair Ground Zero’s position.

MVK removed outer towers and gained safer access to the opposing jungle. Its vision then showed Ground Zero players before the next fights began.

Kratos finished the game with eight kills and eight assists. Chika and Harky added six kills each from the middle and bottom lanes.

The three damage roles gave Ground Zero several threats to track at once. Siuloong and Gury combined for thirty assists during the opening game.

Their control protected the damage dealers when Ground Zero tried to start a fight. MVK reached the base with a large gold advantage after taking towers and neutral monsters. The first nexus fell after just under thirty-two minutes.

Ground Zero cannot turn kills into lasting control

Ground Zero collected nine kills during the first game. Betty supplied three of them and remained the team’s main damage source.

1Jiang added three kills from the top lane and challenged Kratos directly. HuSha, Uniboy and Kaiwing tried to connect those separate advantages.

The team still lost too much ground after each unsuccessful fight. MVK turned successful fights into towers, dragons and other neutral monsters.

Ground Zero often returned without control of the nearby entrances. That problem limited its ability to surprise the leading team.

MVK also kept enough health after fights to continue the same push. The first game ended with twenty-one kills for the winning side.

More important, MVK had removed nine towers and exposed the final structures. Ground Zero reached only two towers during the same period.

MVK finished the game with a gold lead above thirteen thousand. The difference explains why isolated kills did not create a full comeback. MVK ended the game before Ground Zero could establish another defensive line.

Kratos completes the second game without dying

The second game was calmer but produced the same winner. Kratos again received team support and did not die in game two.

He recorded six kills while joining four more for MVK. Gury also avoided every death and added eight assists from the jungle.

Chika supported the leading side with three kills and five assists. Harky matched that kill total from the bottom lane.

Ground Zero found only four kills across the entire game. Betty took two, while Uniboy and Kaiwing collected one each.

MVK did not need the same volume of fighting as in the opener. It built control through lanes, towers and safer movement near neutral monsters.

Ground Zero reached one tower but could not gain access to the central area. That kept MVK close together and protected its players between fights.

The winning lineup entered the final attack with every lane available. Ground Zero lacked enough damage to remove Kratos before the back line arrived. MVK completed the second game in a little under thirty minutes.

MVK keep the same lineup for both victories

MVK used the same five-player lineup throughout both games. Kratos produced the clearest individual advantage on the top side.

Gury connected the lanes and supported the main damage roles. Chika gave the team a stable link between both side lanes.

Harky remained a second damage threat during every important fight. Siuloong protected the group and completed many winning combinations.

Ground Zero relied most heavily on Betty while playing from behind. The bottom laner lacked space once MVK controlled the jungle entrances.

The second game contained fewer fights but stronger defensive control. MVK allowed very little access to its towers and central jungle.

Ground Zero used the same starters but found fewer chances later. Its early kills had produced a more active opening game.

The follow-up showed MVK’s cleaner control after the lanes settled. Both games ended with a full victory for the same lineup.

MVK therefore began the new split with a straight series win. The opening result also gave the team a useful start in the standings.

Ground Zero left with clear examples of where control disappeared after early fights. The two completed games also reveal a stable five-player structure.

Kratos remained the main top-lane reference in both winning drafts. Ground Zero found early kills but rarely converted them into structures.

MVK repeatedly moved from winning fights toward dragons and opposing towers. That sequence kept the leading team ahead without constant fighting.
