LCK Spring Recap: Records Broken and Rookies Rising

The LCK spring split will be remembered as one of the most competitive in league history. A record-setting win streak dominated the headlines, but the real story is the rookie class rewriting expectations.

Three first-year players finished in the top ten of overall KDA, and one rookie jungler out-pathed veterans on the biggest stage week after week. The playoff race came down to tiebreakers in the final super week.

Internationally, the split’s meta read gives LCK teams a distinct identity heading into MSI: slow, macro-heavy play with explosive late-game teamfighting.
