Invictus Gaming lose game one, then beat Weibo Gaming 2-1

Invictus Gaming defeated Weibo Gaming 2-1 in the opening week of LPL Split 3. Weibo dominated the first game, but iG answered with two increasingly clear wins.
Jiejie leads Weibo in a dominant first game
Weibo Gaming started the series with Jiejie on Jarvan IV. He repeatedly reached lanes before Invictus Gaming could cover the same space.
Jiejie finished with five kills, one death and twenty assists. His involvement connected almost every successful Weibo move during the opener.
Zika supported that pressure with Jax and won the top-lane contest. Xiaohu completed the game without a death while playing Cassiopeia.
Elk played Sivir and recorded nine kills from the bottom lane. Jwei’s Shen added seventeen assists and protected the main damage dealers.
Invictus Gaming managed only seven kills across the entire game. Rookie collected three of them but could not slow Weibo’s grouped attacks.
Weibo removed ten towers while iG took only two. The winners also built a gold advantage above fourteen thousand. Weibo completed the first game after thirty-two minutes.
Wei changes the series with Naafiri
Invictus Gaming gave Wei Naafiri for the second game. The jungler found six kills and died only once during the comeback.
His movement helped iG reach fights with more players in position. Rookie supported those attacks with Ryze from the middle lane.
He recorded five kills and eleven assists in a much cleaner game. TheShy used Olaf and became another direct threat during close fights.
Assum played Seraphine and supplied damage without requiring every resource. Meiko completed the lineup with Rell and supported eleven kills.

Weibo changed several champion choices but lost control after the lanes ended. Jiejie took Jayce and could not repeat his opening influence.
Xiaohu’s Anivia also lacked room once iG entered from several directions. Invictus Gaming won the kill score by twenty to nine.
The second game ended after twenty-nine minutes and levelled the series. Invictus Gaming destroyed all three inhibitors before completing the final attack.
TheShy creates side-lane pressure with Yorick
TheShy selected Yorick for the deciding game against Zika’s Rumble. TheShy had no deaths and kept pressure on the side lane.
That movement forced Weibo to divide players during Baron and dragon fights. Wei changed to Trundle and also finished the final game without dying.
Rookie used Viktor and led iG with six kills. His damage became difficult to avoid inside the narrow jungle entrances.

| Game two | Invictus Gaming won in 29 minutes |
| Game three | Invictus Gaming won in 24 minutes |
Assum remained on Ezreal and added seven assists from the bottom lane. Meiko’s Leona helped start fights when Weibo players moved between lanes.
Weibo answered with Wukong, Sylas, Varus and Bard around Rumble. Jiejie collected three kills, but the other lanes could not match iG’s pressure.
Elk ended the game without a kill after taking four deaths. Invictus Gaming reached the base through several lanes at once. The final nexus fell after only twenty-four minutes.
Invictus Gaming build their largest lead in the decider
Invictus Gaming took control of the final game through every lane. Weibo secured one early neutral target but gained little lasting ground.
iG later claimed the dragons and Baron needed for the final attack. The winning advantage reached the top, middle and bottom lanes.
That margin arrived faster than Weibo’s lead in the opening game. Rookie, Wei and TheShy supplied most of the direct pressure.

Assum and Meiko supported them during each grouped move. Weibo found fewer complete fights than during its first victory.
Its players were often separated when iG entered the jungle. The short final game completed a recovery that began after the opener.
Invictus Gaming changed its champions and improved its movement. Weibo kept the same players but never restored its first-game control. The final push reached the base through more than one lane.
The same five players complete the comeback
Invictus Gaming used TheShy, Wei, Rookie, Assum and Meiko throughout. Assum had joined before the split after playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas.
His first game with the group was difficult on Ziggs. He then contributed to both wins on Seraphine and Ezreal.
Wei produced the sharpest change between the opening and later games. Rookie also recovered after a difficult first game against Weibo.
The middle laner found safer positions during the two victories. Weibo kept Zika, Jiejie, Xiaohu, Elk and Jwei throughout.
Its opening champion selection produced the strongest early result. Invictus Gaming answered with different champions and faster movement.
The final game showed the largest difference between the teams. The comeback gave iG a winning start to its group schedule.
Weibo’s opening victory still showed how dangerous its coordinated early moves remain. Invictus answered by improving its lane support around Wei and Rookie.
The final two games ended before Weibo restored its coordinated pressure. Assum contributed steadily after a difficult first game with the new lineup.
