AL recover from the opening game and beat JD Gaming 2-1

AL defeated JD Gaming 2-1 in the opening week of LPL Split 3. JDG won the first game before AL answered in both remaining games.
Shanks received the series award after a strong second game. Breathe earned the final-game award during the fifty-six-minute decider.
JD Gaming win the opening game
The first game ended after twenty-nine minutes. JD Gaming finished with ten kills and won the later fights around neutral monsters.
GALA played Jhin and recorded six kills with one death. His finishing supplied most of JDG’s damage during the decisive fights.
Xiaoxu earned the game award on Gnar. He completed the game without dying and added six assists.
AL finished with seven kills. Hope found three on Ziggs, while Breathe’s Ambessa died three times.
JDG held a gold lead of almost seven thousand when the game ended. They needed one more game win to take the series.
Shanks helps AL win the second game with Sylas
AL changed the series during a thirty-six-minute second game. The team collected twenty kills and seven towers.
Shanks produced ten kills and four assists on Sylas. He received the game award after winning several central fights.
Tarzan added thirteen assists on Vi. Kael recorded seventeen assists with Milio and died only once.
JDG found seven kills across the map. Xiaoxu led his team with four on Rumble, but GALA finished with five deaths.
AL also secured Baron and both later Ocean Drakes. The result levelled the series at one game each.
The deciding game lasts fifty-six minutes
The final game became the longest game of the series. Both teams remained within one major fight until the closing minutes.
AL finished with twenty-five kills against fourteen. The final gold difference was slightly above three thousand.

Breathe played K’Sante and earned the game award. His score ended at seven kills, one death and nine assists.
Hope supplied nine kills on Varus. Shanks added seven on Annie, while Kael reached eighteen assists with Neeko.
HongQ kept JDG in the game with nine kills on Mel. GALA added three kills and eight assists on Sivir.
Fights around Baron and Elder Dragon extend the deciding game
Anyone’s Legend secured two Ocean Drakes during the final game. The team later added Baron and repeated Elder Dragon control.
JDG also claimed two Barons and an Elder Dragon. Those captures extended the game beyond fifty minutes.

The teams traded control around the river several times. Neither side converted its first late advantage into an immediate final push.
AL eventually won the final base fight after another Elder sequence. The last push ended a game lasting nearly one hour.
The deciding game followed two much shorter games. All three used different champion combinations under the current patch.
The same starters complete all three games
AL used Breathe, Tarzan, Shanks, Hope and Kael throughout the series. No substitution was made between games.
JD Gaming started Xiaoxu, JunJia, HongQ, GALA and Vampire. The same five also played every game.
The result gives AL its first match win in Group Ascend. JDG begin Split 3 with one series defeat.
AL next face LGD during the same opening week. JDG return against Team WE in their following series.
The final record is a 2-1 comeback for AL. Shanks received the overall player award.
Different champion selections shape each game
Breathe moved from Ambessa to Ornn and then K’Sante. His final choice produced the strongest top-lane score.

Tarzan used Naafiri, Vi and Qiyana across the three games. Vi delivered his cleanest result during the equaliser.
Shanks played Cassiopeia before moving to Sylas and Annie. His second-game Sylas created ten of AL’s twenty kills.
Hope changed from Ziggs to Lucian and Varus. He recorded three, three and nine kills across those selections.
Kael completed the series with Camille, Milio and Neeko. His support score reached seventeen assists in game two.
JDG also changed every role between games. GALA used Jhin, Caitlyn and Sivir during the full series.
The first two games lasted sixty-five combined minutes. The deciding game alone continued for fifty-six minutes.
All three maps were played on patch 26.14. Fearless draft prevented the teams from repeating earlier champion choices.
Across the three games, AL recorded fifty-two kills. JD Gaming finished the series with thirty-one.
The series lasted 121 minutes across all three games. The fifty-six-minute decider accounted for almost half that total.
AL won two consecutive games after the opening defeat and completed the reverse sweep.
