About PEX Team
PEX Team were a Mexican competitive League of Legends organisation that operated within the Latin American scene. Representing Mexico, the team took part in the regional ladder that feeds the broader Latin American esports landscape, giving its players a stage to compete against fellow contenders from across the area. The organisation is now disbanded, and its competitive activity belongs to the recent past of Latin America’s grassroots and semi-professional circuit.
The Players
PEX Team fielded a roster made up of Bazu, Donut, Suppa, Uri, Devil deGrey and JeiiZe. The six-man group provided a full starting five alongside a substitute option, giving the team room to rotate players as circumstances demanded. As is common among developing Latin American squads, the lineup mixed hungry up-and-coming talent with more seasoned competitors, and together they carried the PEX Team banner through their time in the region.
The Latin American Scene
Latin America has grown into one of League of Legends’ most passionate esports communities, with a top-tier regional league sitting above a network of smaller competitions where emerging teams cut their teeth. PEX Team belonged to that developmental layer, where organisations from Mexico and neighbouring countries compete to raise their profile and, ideally, progress toward the region’s premier stage. It is an ecosystem defined by ambition and rapid turnover.
For a Mexican side, participating in this environment meant regular competition against a broad pool of opponents, each match an opportunity to test strategies and build reputation. The region’s depth ensures that even teams outside the elite tier face demanding competition.
Legacy
With the organisation no longer active, PEX Team are remembered as one of the many Mexican outfits that contributed to the vitality of Latin American League of Legends. Their run added to the density of competition that keeps the region’s talent pipeline flowing. Although the team has folded, the players who represented it may continue their careers elsewhere as Latin America’s scene keeps expanding and reshaping itself.
