About NOCTA
NOCTA was a Colombian League of Legends organisation that competed within the Latin American region, one of the sport’s most passionate and rapidly maturing competitive territories. Though the club has since disbanded, it formed part of the grassroots and semi-professional layer that feeds ambition and talent into the wider Latin American scene, where teams battle for recognition and a shot at the region’s premier competitions.
Origins and Identity
Representing Colombia, NOCTA drew from a country that has produced a steady stream of dedicated League of Legends players and enthusiastic supporters. Latin American esports has grown enormously over the past decade, and organisations like NOCTA were part of the competitive fabric that gives the region its depth beyond its most visible franchises.
The Roster
NOCTA fielded a lineup built around Acevedo, Stibi, Raydell, Pelirrojo, Gabenx, and Dreseul. This group of players formed the backbone of the club’s competitive efforts, splitting the responsibilities of the game’s five positions along with squad depth. Rosters at this level of Latin American play are often proving grounds, where individuals sharpen their skills and aim to catch the attention of larger organisations operating in the top tiers.
The Latin American competitive landscape is defined by its regional pride and by the aspiration of every club to climb toward the LLA, the region’s flagship league. Teams such as NOCTA operated in the challenging environment beneath that summit, where resources are tighter and every result matters for a squad hoping to make a name for itself.
Although NOCTA is no longer active, its place in the history of Colombian and Latin American League of Legends remains. The organisation contributed to the ongoing development of local talent during its existence, and the players who wore its colours may continue to leave their mark elsewhere. Clubs like this, though short-lived, collectively sustain the competitive energy that keeps the Latin American scene evolving.
