About my star
my star was a European competitive League of Legends outfit based in Lithuania, an organisation that carved out its place within the EMEA grassroots scene. The team competed in Rift Legends, one of the regional circuits that feeds talent upward through Europe’s tiered ecosystem, and it drew much of its identity from the Baltic gaming community that has long produced hungry, self-taught players eager to test themselves against the continent’s deeper talent pools.
A Baltic Presence in the European Pyramid
Operating out of Lithuania placed my star among a relatively small cohort of Baltic representatives in organised European play. While the LEC sits at the summit of the region’s structure, the vast majority of professional and semi-professional squads develop within national and regional leagues, and Rift Legends served as exactly that kind of proving ground. For an organisation like my star, the appeal lay in visibility, structured competition and the chance to build a roster capable of climbing higher.
The Roster
During its run, my star fielded a squad that included Balukos, kory, LakatosD, asphyxia, Lesterik, IGli and Ruf. This group blended the responsibilities of a full competitive lineup with the rotational depth common to teams at this level, where roster experimentation is frequent and players often move between organisations as they seek opportunities. The names on the sheet reflected the ambition of a team trying to establish consistency in a demanding format.
Competitive Landscape
Rift Legends and the broader EMEA regional scene are fiercely contested, with dozens of organisations vying for the limited slots that lead toward the European Regional Leagues and, ultimately, the LEC. Success at this tier demands not only mechanical skill but organisational stability, something that remains difficult for smaller clubs to sustain over multiple seasons.
Today my star is a disbanded organisation, its competitive chapter closed. Yet its participation contributed to the vibrant patchwork of national and regional teams that keeps European League of Legends alive beneath the professional spotlight. Clubs like this one, however brief their tenure, remain part of the wider story of how the region continually renews itself.
