Anivia’s 600 attack range is the longer of the two by a wide margin, since Yuumi sits at 425, but her toolkit is built around setup rather than pressure. Flash Frost must land before Frostbite pays off, and Crystallize only matters against a target forced to walk through it. Yuumi spends most of a fight attached, and a champion attached to an ally does not walk anywhere a wall can cut off.

Defensively the gap is thinner than it looks. Anivia holds 550 health at level 1 and 2,114 at 18, with 19 armor rising to 88.7, which is soft for a champion asked to hold a zone with Glacial Storm. Rebirth is the genuine complication: the egg grants a second life and forces Yuumi’s side to commit extra damage, which is why picks that should end fights sometimes do not. Prowling Projectile rewards patience, dealing bonus damage and a stronger slow once the missile has travelled 1.35 seconds, and that is the cleanest way to chip an egg down.
